Coach Al Martin inducted into the Illinois
High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame. He's coached
for the past 31 years, 26 of those at Du Quoin as either head coach
(1988-present) or assistant. Under Martin's guidance, the Indians are
203-40 with two 3A state titles, three 3A runner-up trophies, six other
trips to the 3A semifinals, 20 consecutive 3A playoff berths and 15
shared or outright conference titles. (4/5/08)
