Jason James honored as the Illinois
Coaches Association (ICA) 2007 Softball Coach of the Year for the Murphysboro
Sectional Complex in Class A. Jason was one of about two dozen coaches
honored during a banquet in East Peoria last month.

Coach Martin has coached for the past 31 years, 26 of
those at Du Quoin as either head coach (1988-present) or assistant. Under
Martin's guidance, the Indians are 203-40 with two 3A state titles, three
3A runner-up trophies, six other trips to the 3A semifinals, 20 consecutive
3A playoff berths and 15 shared or outright conference titles. (Jeff
